How do I re-position the Google Map Marker?

If your Google Map Marker is not located in the right location you can manually position it to the correct location.

The most common reasons for incorrect marker placements are:

  • the address being located in a remote area that Google has not yet indexed
  • the address belongs to a newly developed area that Google has not yet indexed
  • the address or postal code is entered incorrectly - Google does not recognize it
